Spend an Afternoon Making Marigold Silk Scarves with Dried Marigolds from Arnosky Family Farm

Learn with Shiila Safer to use dried and fresh flowers to create a beautiful yellow gold silk scarf or silk bandana and take it home for yourself, or for a gift. Silk will be pre-mordanted. We will simmer the flowers and the silk to make your gorgeous Fall scarf or bandana – you will choose when you arrive. You will also have the opportunity to dye a second item for an extra $15. Learn about natural dyeing at its most basic – experience the alchemy of flowers, water and heat.

Class size limited to 10.

$75 for class + $10 materials fee. $15 for an extra item.

30% of class fee goes back to the Marigold festival as a donation.
